In 2007, Get Movin Crew started as a fun run fundraiser that schools hired to come in and put on fun run events. However, during the last few years, the fun run market has died down as schools are putting fun run events on for themselves. As fun run enrollment began to die down, Wendy noticed that technology was on the rise. Instead of trying to compete with schools in the dying fun run market, Wendy began capitalizing on this rise of technology allowing Get Movin Crew to stay in business and continue to help schools fund-raise. Over a year ago, Get Movin Crew officially stopped facilitating fun runs and now focuses solely on innovative software they’ve created for schools to make it easier to monitor fundraising, manage fundraising events, and make them more hassle-free for the PTA and PTO members.
