Libbie Bronzan iD Tech

iD Tech with Libbie Bronzan

School Zone Podcast interviews Libbie Bronzan of iD Tech on today’s episode of the podcast.

iD Tech is the #1 tech camp for ages 6 – 18 held at Stanford, MIT, and 150+ top U.S. campuses. Registrations for summer 2018 open on November 1. To register for our programs visit www.idtech.com.

Joining Matt Miller in the School Zone this week to talk technology education is regional manager Libbie Bronzan of iD Tech. Now a nationally acclaimed company, iD Tech was started just 19 years ago in 1999 with the goal of educating young students, specifically 6-18 years old, through summer camps about the technology field and all it has to offer.

Similar to most other summer camps, most of the iD Tech courses are a week long. However, there are some “Academy” courses that last around two weeks and are more intensive programs for the kids. Although these courses are highly geared towards learning, the kids tend to enjoy the courses much more because they are also sub-merged in a light-hearted camp environment and make life-long friends while they’re at it. With a selection of over 50 different courses, the learning possibilities and course levels are endless. The courses range anywhere from photography and videography, to virtual reality and game design. The instructors that iD Tech hires for these courses are nothing but top notch instructors. Additionally, most of them have attended iD Tech camps as kids and decided to come back as adults and work for iD Tech, which speaks volumes about the high-quality environment that iD Tech provides for the campers. With over 150 camps across the country currently, the growth over the last 19 years speaks for the company’s success itself. Typically, the cost for a week-long course starts at $899, which Matt affirms to be well-worth the investment for the younger generation.

If you are interested in getting your kids involved with iD Tech and them learning about the growing field of technology, you can hop onto their website at: www.idtech.com to find out more information about their 50 different courses or to look for a location near you. Thanks for joining Matt Miller in the School Zone this week! Looking forward to you joining us next time!
